: DJ, I'm not by no means a judge but from what I have found Safety wiring bolts are one wire looped thru and twisted off at last bolt. If you have a copy of Restoter's model A shop Manual by Jim Schild check out page #115 showing rear bearing retainer.For wire size refer to Model a Parts Book also cotter pins.The C pins are listed under unfinished,and at times I substitute stainless pins that I may have to cut down longer pins to get the propper size. My suplier of SS pins does not always have all pin sizes available.I have taken most of the original pins and substituted SS pins by cutting them.Again the parts book seems to be my best source for info.Sorry can't remember guage of wire needed.
