: I'm assuming you're talking about the Sparton air horn with the 6 volt vane-type compressor. It was never a stock or factory optional horn, but was from the same period. It was generally used on more expensive vehicles.
: My father's '27 Jordan Silouette Playboy had a Sparton 2-bugle horn as stock equipment, and I used it on my "A" back in '59.There were also 3 and 4 bugle horns with cam driven valves that played tone sequences automatically. Typically the problem with them is wear of the compressor housing and the vanes preventing sufficient pressure for proper intonation, or diaphragm problems - either bent or corroded.

: They do sound nice, though.

You see these horns at just about every flea market and they usually command a healthy price.I bought a 3 trumpet horn some years ago at Hershey.I was fortunate to find a guy in New Jersey who had worked for the Sparton company and he would repair these great sounding horns. He went through mine and it still sounds great many years later. He was pretty elderly when he did the work for me, so it is very possible that he no longer does this work or he is no longer...

At any rate, the Bugler horn is a great era addition to your Model A.
