: Been there done that! I admired your SW in summer of '95 when we drove up and parked our identical '31 in the parking lot with it's Arizona 1931 plates a shinin' and strolled in like nothing was happening. Nice car Poppa! (That's what The Grand Dotter says.) They treated us like royalty. I don't begrudge nor envy you your car but I truthfully wish it was back in Sac.

: The light could be a sticking switch and the horn...quien sabe'? Use a test light and see if you have power to the hooter. Doubt if it's crossed wiring. Long ways to cross. Didn't the car come with a warranty?

: God speed under 50.

: The Model A Fool.

Unfortunately this auction was like any other, as is where is. However found the problem with the brake light, the brake actuator wasn't pushing in the switch, the brakes were adjusted too far in.Yes there is power to the horn, actually both wires to the horn are hot, whether the button is pushed in or not, how does that work?Could it be a ground problem? Also since this car has the dual sidemounts should it have a luggage rack in the back, and if so where would I find one?
I can't agree with you more about the whereabouts of the car, I wish she was still in Sac also.We only live about 3 hours from there, and after we get her all cleaned up and complete we are thinking about placing her there again. Some one had to buy the cars, and I am just as glad it was me rather than someone without resources or resolve to take care of her for future generations to admire.
