I would guess, from your description, that you have a very late "wide box" pickup. They had a strange "underfloor" with a stamped steel "sheet thing" over it - like the later Fords did. I wouldn't change it. You'd have to create some sort of special wood in order to make it look like a wood bed or go to the earlier type box. That box took different fenders, so then you're looking for fenders too. You can get the bed floor cover (new) and/or the wood beneath it from Mack Products- Moberly, MO. 1-816-263-7444 To my knowlege, no-one makes a "stake kit" for your box. You'll have to build one yourself. I just built an entire "stake" type wooden trailer - it's no big deal.
