Hi Jim.Your best bet is to simply find a few spare plugs and assemble the best 4 sets of components.The later run of Champion 3x spark plugs were nearly identical to the Model A era plugs as far as fit is concerned, but there were some visual differences that you (and judges) can easily spot.The MAFCA/MARC Judging Standards and Restoration Guidelines has a good section on this.

What many of us do (me included) is to assemble the best set we can and use those for judging.Then, put a modern set back in for touring.Takes only a few minutes to change plugs, and we are able to save the "gennies" for showing purposes.

While Henry would cringe at that idea, as restorers we strive for absolute authenticity, so perhaps we could be forgiven for this trickery :)
