Seriously though, thanks for the info.
The engine I bought is #1987376 which would be mid '29, but it has a "AR" pan and oil pump. I think I'll use the pan but not the "AR" dip tray since the later ones were improved for flow.
I wonder if the unlaminated fan worked out, or whether it was like the all-bushing water pump of '29?? Something to ask Lyle Meek about maybe.
I like the two blade fan, but have sliced up a top tank with one back when.
