Interior trim maroon

I am getting to the interior restoration of a 31 Sport Coupe and am seeing in different places that some interior parts should be a maroon color. Is this correct? If so, could someone tell me what parts on the interior should be maroon and what the mixture is for this color. Also is it laquer?
