: I bought a set of unused king pins at a swap meet,and recently installed them in the front end of my '31. I didn't notice any markings, but the round portion of the pin where the brake actuater fits in is rotated toward the rear of the car by probably 15 deg.

Well you hit the nail right on the head there, thanks very much you just saved me having them rebuilt for nothing. It's really a pleasure to be able to draw on hundreds of thousands of hours of experience with a few strokes of a keyboard. Well done to Dale too for the setup.
