Maybe this ties in-
I bought a set of unused king pins at a swap meet,and recently installed them in the front end of my '31. I didn't notice any markings, but the round portion of the pin where the brake actuater fits in is rotated toward the rear of the car by probably 15 deg.
Obviously the actuater won't fit in, but I'm using '39 Hydraulic brakes so it doesn't matter.Be interesting to see if the lock pin notch is is different angular position on one of your sets-
