Thanks for the excellent replys, both here and direct e-mail.
Tinkering with the truck last night I found the timing was
off some and the points were at .010" instead of the recommended
.018"-.022".I didn't try to start it because it was after
10pm and the neighbors kids were in bed.Maybe I'll try to start
it tonight.I'm not going to try and drive it until I've
changed the various fluids and checked a few other things.
This truck has undergone an amateur restoration, so is not in
show quality, but definitely looks good for a daily driver.

And I've already learned what some brackets are for on the rear
frame crossmember - they're for a spare tire mount.So now I have
an additional item to add to my swap meet shopping list.

This is a great place.
