: Just bought a '30 Tudor that had a pair of cast front fender braces.Since mine will be a "go" car and not a "show" car (and from what I've found so far the cast were used on '28 only) I would be willing to trade these for stamped braces andmaybe some cash or possibly some other parts (door handles, horn, interior parts, etc) to someone that has a '28 and needs these.Any interest? After Henry changed from the forged to the stamped front fender braces, he went back to them, I believe in late 30 or early 31.The later forged braces has three bolt holes that attaches to the frame.I have had both, but I much prefer the later forged ones, as they fit better and I belive they are stronger.The "serial number" can be found near the left front body mounting hole, and is stamped on the top of the frame.If it is still legible, you can tell what month the car was built by comparing the number with the information regarding monthly assembly figures.
