Oil leaks at the front of the engine are not as common as a rear main leak.Before you drop the pan, clean the front of the engine good to try and determine if the front covers are leaking.perhaps the gaskets are bad, or the cover bolts need tightening.If that isn't the cause, then drop the pan and check the half moon rope type gaskets..
