Assuming that the block has a cylinder head installed, you may want to pour a little oil (preferably something light like Marvel Mystery Oil, etc) down each spark plug hole in order to lubricate the cylinder walls a bit.It'll smoke a little when you fire it up the first time, but that won't hurt a thing!
