Hi Gary.I've given up repros too.They just don't work.If you can, find an original and clean it up.In my searching for one for my 1931 Tudor, I discovered that there were at least two light switches. The bottom half (the empty piece) on one was smaller.In looking at the "Parts Price List" published by Ford in 1931, A-11654-B Light Switch Assembly is listed to fit 1928-1931 so it appears like there was only 1 size.

The MAFCA/MARC Judging Standards and Restoration Guidelines on page 2-8 does indicate some differences, but mainly in the lower (empty) section.

I have an extra switch, probably for a 30-31 car since that's all I've ever worked on, so if you'd like to try a used one, let me know.
