: When did the two piece side splash aprons or shields start to appear on the 1930 Closed Cabs and when did they switch to the one piece side splash aprons?

: I am trying to determine and afirm the exact date this Closed Cab 82B was produced. Obviously, I have a two piece side apron.

Hi Ken..Look for the serial number of your car near the left front body mounting hole on the frame. Then look at the serial number listings in a lot of Model A literature and that will tell you the month it was built. That's the easy way, because I know you have your CC Pickup almost done for the Dayton meet. The number is also on the title, if you have one.If all that fails, perhaps Rick Black will know.
