Oil return line

Leave it up to an amature. I need a class in reading a tape measure. I installed an oil filter kit and cemented the gaskets in place on the engine only to find the return pipe is too short! Does anyone out there have a pipe that measures 15" center to center on the bolt holes that they are willing to part with?
