: Has anyone put a Pinto Engine in a Model A and and give me feed back as to perfomance. Good and bad.

Wade,
While I can't help you in the installation question you're looking for, I have run across a few Model As while pinto conversions. The conversion do utilize a stanard Model A transmission and drive line.I believe that they also used a Model A clutch set up.But I have to say the methode of connecting the clutch to the fly wheel is the week link.Out at the Joint MAFCA/MARC meet in Tacoma I watched as a repair was being made to a Pinto'ed Model A.The flywheel caused the rear flange of the crankshaft to break. The repair crew was trying all sorts of procedure to reweld the flang so it could at least get the guy back home (CA).I heard the got him put back together but the repair tempoorary at best.

If your looking for improved performance of a stock Model A you might want to check out a group called the "Secrets of Speed" as they focus on get the most out a Model A motor.
