carburetor trouble

My normally smooth idling and easy starting Model A has changed its personality. Before, when it was warm, one touch of the starter button would bring the engine to life. Now it needs to turn over 8 - 10 times before it starts. (Cold starting is still OK.) Sometimes when warm it even requires choke and the gas adjusting valve to be opened a full turn. Before, about 1/4 turn was sufficient.I had to set the idle up or it would stall. Also when idling, if you turn the GAV off, the car really runs rough.By opening it up1 full turn, the engine speeds up which it never used to do.I have checked point gap and timing. It is dead on.I took the carb apart and cleaned all jets.I could not find any real blockage or dirt. ANY SUGGESTIONS OUT THERE IN MODEL A LAND?
