: The throttle lever to the right of the steering wheel in my'31 : Sedan does not "stay put" in the position that I set it in. It : rises up and really slows the idle when I come to a stop. Is : there a tightening procedure? Or, does anyone have a corrective : remedy? Thanks. Is it possible that someone has added an extra spring at the carb to help bring the throttle to a complete stop at idle? I have seen this and if the spring is too "tight" it would cause your lever at the wheel to creep. Otherwise I would take a three cornered file and make sure you have good notches at the quadrant to hold the lever in position. |
