I don't believe anyone reproduces the screw-in type fuel filler screen, and the tab-type won't work.Your alternatives are to replace the tank with a later style one, leave it out, or find a replacement original screw-in filter.I have seen a number of them at swap meets, so they are available if you're patient and look a while.Good luck!
