Mick, you and ten thousand other guys (including me) have a problem.MY EXPERIENCE is that the float valve in the carburetor will not hold the gasoline back; especially when you have a rather full fuel tank.I'm trying to resolve this problem right now and am prepared to repair the fuel shut off valve under the dash AND replace the float valve with a neoprene tipped style (the Grose jet didn't work for me either)If you can shut your fuel off under the dash and not have it leak out the carburetor, I'd say you were lucky.
