: My 29 tudor came with an extended tailpipe.A previous owner was apparently concerned about poisoning himself and his passengers with CO fumes so he welded enough pipe onto the end of the exhaust to get the fumes out from under the car.Works well from a fume standpoint but you need to be careful about the angle because unless it is hung just right it will rattle against the rear axle.Next time I will probably do the same thing on a closed car.
