My drive shaft was fine. I think the problem with most old cars is that people are reluctant to grease them properly and in my case this was very true! Most bearings showed extreme wear and tear from lack of grease!When I saw the tube bearing condition I continued through the entire rear end and found similar wear and tear. I was reluctant to assemble the car in a condition that would not be entirely safe for driving short or long trips!
