Or, you can get one with more than a diode in it that provides some voltage regulation. I found after buying one
that it's not recommended for a Powerhouse generator. If the charging current goes over 15 amps, mass destruction may occur. I was unable to hold my PH under 15 A. In fact, one day after installing a new brush ring, it went to 30a. and blew the fuse.
