I've found that it's hard to find a good, original-looking and fitting cut out these days.And they just seem to be troublesome.I took an original unit, took it apart, and installed a zener diode in place of the original guts.Kits are available if you want to do it yourself (especially if you want to keep the engine compartment looking original) or you can buy converted cutouts. My conversion cost me less than $10 for the parts - converted ones are going for a lot more. Just my 2 cents worth...
