Sounds like I should consider finding a new transmission somewhere rather than cobble the original in the conversion from the multiple disk to single disk. I have been talking with Mac's Antique Auto in Lockport, New York about the rebuild of the engine and they have assured me that the cracks can be repaired, but I have heard that the cast iron blocks tend to keep cracking once breached, even after repair. Any information about Mac's as a rebuilder?
