Wayne, I think you are talking about the two bolts that hold the spring to the Bendix drive.They originally had a lock tab washer to keep them from "unscrewing" themselves. You may never have problems with the bolts staying at he bottom of the bell housing. If you want to get them out there are several methods.You can use a magnet to remove them.Either tie it to a strong string and fish for the bolts or stick the magnet to the flywheel and rotate the engine to get the bolts (DO NOT start the engine with the magnet on the flywheel).You can also slap some heavy grease on the flywheel and rotate the engine, the bolts should stick to the grease.I have also heard that a small child's arm is small enough to reach in and get the bolts.
