Hi Jim, I found sound deadening panels at this "Car Paint" Store here in Dayton, Ohio. I would recommend using this product, or one like it, instead of any kind of spray. The brand name is EVERCOAT. When applying these panels be sure to keep them at least 4 inches or so away from the bottom of the doors. This way you will not attact and hold any moisture. Package comes in a pk of 6, 12"x12" panels. Easy to cut with razor blade, knife, or scissors. Waterproof! You can build up surfaces! Can be molded. HOPE THIS HELPS!
