Well, I got it running this morning.Turns out it was something to do with all the rain we've had lately. The points had a light corrosion film on them, the plug wires/straps and sparkplug tops also had some corrosion. So I cleaned up all electrical connections, replaced the coil (which probably wasn't necessary), cleaned up all wiring terminals, and gave the battery an overnight recharge. Near as I can figure, with the weak electrical connections and the battery being drained down, I wasn't getting enough juice to make the sparkplugs spark. So, YIPPEE it runs again. Now I don't want to sell it, but still figure I need to because I don't want to make two cross country drives for my relocation.Guess if I do sell this truck I'll end up shopping for another one once I'm settled in and working again.Who cares if the truck only goes 30mph, it's a lot more fun than any newer car at 70mph. mike.
