Hi Tony..

To supplement Bob Johnson's comments, it sounds to me like it's a intermittent fuel supply problem possibly caused by minute particles of dirt. As a suggestion, drain the gas tank, remove the gas supply pipe, the fuel shutoff valve and the sediment bowl and clean them good. Then, get a thin gas tank screen filter that presses into the top hole of the shutoff valve.Bratton's part number A9193T, $3.00, 1-800-732-6453.This does two things. It will pre-filter the gas going to the sediment bowl, but more important, it effectively raises the "empty" level of the tank and won't draw gas from the very bottom of the tank. Then, if you do have a little crud in the tank, it won't try to draw it out.I have one on my coupe, and never had a dirt problem in the gas. Also, make sure to use a new gasket in the sediment bowl, or you might have a leak.Good luck.
