I would not characterize this motor as faster.... As I understand this motor has 60 horse power compared to 40 horse power of the stock Model A. The additional 20 horse does give a Model A more snap, more pulling power, better acceleration, improved hill climbing etc. etc....... faster maybe; but I think speed has to do with rear end ratios almost as much as the power of the motor.I converted a stock A motor with a counterweighted "B" with a "B" carb and removed 25 lbsfrom my flywheel and there is no comparision. Although I could travel at 50+ easily.... I notice the power improvement at the normal cruising ranges when other Model A's are trying to keep up.
