Paint Tint Color, Andalusite Blue # 121

I am restoring an early 30 coupe.I've been painting the pieces before installing the parts..I live in LA County and had to drive to San Diego County in order to get original Lacquer paint.The paint looks good, but when in the bright sunlight, it has a purple tint if closely examined.. Is this the normal/original tint or did the paint shop make a mistake in the mix??I gave them the formula from the Ditzler book and they had the name/mix in their computer... While it looks good inside the garage, I don't want to be driving a purple Model A during the day...Any Help would be appreciated....
