Bob, thanks for the info.Looks like I've got the wrong overdrive.I was told that any closed shaft overdrive from a Studebaker or a Rambler would work.I have one out of a 1950 Studebaker, but, looks like I'm WRONG AGAIN!!!

I'm looking for the how to aspects of installing one in an "A".I'm not a machinest, so I'll have to farm the machine work out.

I have the Early Torque Tube, so the unit can be mounted up close to the engine.

I was told that it is the preferable style, is this correct?

Also, the couplings - where can they be purchased and is it advisable to use a High speed rear end also?I'm green as a gourd on this, but I think an overdrive is a good idea with the traffic as it is now a days.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

John Mabry
