The Message Board Archive contains message dating back to July 6th 1996. These messages can be searched or browsed. 1) Search can look for a given word in each message in the archives (for instance - "steering") and the search engine will display a link to each file found. This is done through the Search Archives page. NOTE: Each search can only search through a group of a few thousand files. This is done to keep from slowing down the server too much so other users won't be affected. If you find that your browser is not returning data from a search contact the Web Master via the Comments Page. There may be a problem with the search engine timing out but hopefully it has been resolved. 2) You can also search through the top level message board pages which lists the Subject and Name of the Person posting the message. This is performed via the Search Board page. NOTE: If you get a message back that says "Sorry! The requested file was deleted...." it is because the message wasn't important and didn't need to be kept so to conserve server disk space it was removed from the archives. 3) You can browse the posts fromt he top level Message Board listings. This is done through the Browse Archives page.
