Dean,
Well, I'm a believer in PPG DP and modern topcoats, but I will admit that my A frame, painted in '70 with Rustoleum is still shiny, though not as smmmooooth as stuff I paint today (well, the rustoleum *was* put on with a brush, and I was in high school at the time). Also, a year ago when I was talking to Rustoleum about some paint we had donated to the RR museum, she told me we had the "good stuff"--they can't make it like that anymore! So I don't know if the current Rustoleum would last as long! It does take *forever* to dry compared to automotive stuff, and stays 'soft'.
