I had problems with trying to match vehicle number to engine number. Didn't want to remove body to find number on frame so I bought a small plate from Model A parts supplier, stamped same number as on engine on it, riveted it to the frame under the floor board, painted it black, steel wooled enough off to show the number, rubbed a little dirt into it to "age" it and had no problems getting my title.
