: : Al,
: : Balance man, the answer is in the word. Just put the same weight opposite the magnet.
: : What you doing? Putting on some new fangled technoligee?

: That will take care of static balance. What about dynamic balance?

Al

As long as your opposing balance weight is directly *opposite* the weight of the magnet, and in the same plane of rotation, you'll have your dynamic balance.

This condition will exist on your crankshaft pulley as long as both masses are located on the same face of the pulley. (You can't put one on the radiator side of the pulley and the other on the engine side of the pulley.)

BTW - love your picture of the CC pickup in the Model A Trader Website. I imagine my CC pickup has now been sitting disassembled for nearly as long yours was.

Hope this helps,
Best regards,
Joe
