: We own a '31 Fordor, Briggs Body, Slant Window, Town Car. The driver's side door latch spring broke. We have been unable to find a replacement. We have been sent one spring that looks nothing like the origional, but is said to be the replacement. Neither can we find any pictures of the latch mechanism to see hou this new spring might sit in the latch mech. Any leads to repair or replacement? Can't weld because part of the coil is missing. Want to thank everyone for the information. We found the very spring we neededless than two miles from our home. We never would have looked there without your help. Thanks for the quick solution. Jane & Russ
