I've been able to repair axels but I haven't come up with a mandrel yet to re-broach hubs. We must have 7 or 8 around our garage that I'm saving for a repair job. Right now about the only thing you can do is bite the bullet and buy new. The keyway is usually shot but if you turn it 90 deg you could cut a new groove, that is if the taper fits and is not wollared out.
