model c engine

Our experience with the "C" engine is a little more complicated than just a 3 bolt water pump. We found that one needs a 32/34 distributor with a centrifugal advance. The hand spark method gives very poor performance. Also you will need a later model Carburator. Once the timing is set and Carburation is correct (not too lean) the engine should run like a dream. You need to make sure you have at least a 3 row,4 row preferably, radiator to keep that engine cool. We have 2 rebuilt "C" engines in our garage at the present time If your interested my associates tele is 256-878-3544
