: : WHERE TO YOU FIND 600W GEAR LUBE?

: :Wike, Dan Ryan (who manufactures the over drives) swears by Valvoline 85/140 oil instead of 600 wt. says it seams to stick better on gears. He says to use it in rear end's, trany's as well as overdrives...I find mine at Pep Boys...Rich

I believe the 85\140 gear lube will leak out of Model A stuff a lot quicker. If you can find the older "long fiber" grease, I have a "receipe" that includes 90w gear lube and STP. E-mail me direct if you are fo the notion. It's a bunch cheaper to make than to buy if you need quantities. I yield to Ryan on the stuff but my experience has been with trying to sub 90w gear lube and that just didn't work for me.
