If it is an AA pickup the model is an express. The rear lamp is the same as that used on the "A" commercial chassis. The early '29 used a Drum type lamp and later models used a teacup type. Both were made of brass and painted black.
I have a good brass teacup lamp in my extra stuff but not anxious to package and ship from CA. If your brother-in-law isn't too fussy he can buy a new repro or original stainless version and paint it black. It will look the same and be less expensive.
