Trunks (and racks) were accessories that one could either order from the Ford dealer or purchase at an auto parts store.No Model A I can think of came with a trunk as standard equipment.
I've added a deluxe trunk rack (chrome with wood slats), a trunk I made myself, and a full width bumper (same as front bumper) to the back of my 1931 Deluxe Tudor Sedan.Having a trunk is a handy place to stash those "must have" items (spare parts, cleaning supplies, etc.) so they don't have to be carried inside the car.
