Dan,

As you may have found, there are many Tudors restored to look like a deluxe model. Also as you may have guessed there are a few distinct differences.

The Deluxe wasn't announced until June of 1931.As with all models at that time the firewall was of the "indented" type with the fuel shut off in the engine compartment. The most important difference in the body is the use of an adjustable drivers seat.It operated on sliding tracks and a nickel plated lever located at the lower front near center. The front seats are the same (except trim) as those used in the Convertible sedan and the Victoria after May 1931.The left (drivers) seat is slightly wider than the right seat. The rear of the front backrests are curved while on all other Tudors they're flat. The rear seat has armrests on either side (which is easy to add.

With those basics it should be easy to determine if a Tudor is truly a deluxe model.
