AL,
This is the same question I recently asked and received different answers to.First, I am told that in 1928-30 gasoline did not contain lead --- thus there isn't a problem. Others have told me that using unleaded gas will burn the values unless inserts and stainless values have been installed.So to be safe, I am adding the lead substitute as I'vd been told that it can't hurt anything.Guess we both need stainless values to be sure.Hope this helps.
