Hi,
forget the WD-40, get some Kroil, also known as AreoKroil, comes in an orange can. If this doesn't do the trick, take a spark plug apart (or break the porcelin out of a new one) and make a lifitng hook with it, then try to lift the engine by the head, maybe a couple of blows with a wooden mallet to start vibrations. NO fun!!
