the first engine number used in may 29 was 1478648.the last number used in july 29 was 2045422. according to the standards anyway.depending on the firewall date, if you'd stay in that ballpark you should be all right.

: I have been told by several people that you can reasearch the serial number of an A and find out when/where it was made and what body style, color, etc. it was.I am trying to find out about and engine serial number in a '29 sport coupe without pulling the body to get the frame number.Anyone know if/where this information can be obtained?
