:Ran across a water manifold jacket that the seller claims is for an A speedster. It is stamped Katies Flash.Does anyone know of such a manifold and what would it be worth. Also I see in parts catalogs repair kits for Tillotson Carbs. Was this an aftermarket carb and what roughly are they worth? Was it as good as a Zenith? I understand that it was made of potmetal. Not my favorite metal!"Pot metal Pooh.... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as always.

I don't know the value of your water jacket but I do know the value of a good Tillotson Carb. They will sell for about half the price of a zenith but a good one will really drive good. However if you want to show the car you might get points off for not having a zenith carb which I think is a crying shame.I have two model A's and use Tillotson on both.I think the Tillotson is easier to repair and better to tune. All modern carbs are a form of potmetal (aluminum).By-the-way, use a gross-jet in the carb.A model A supplier will know what you want.
