Ted;Look at the July 09 questions I submitted (Running, Idling, & U-Joint Questions), their answers to my #1 question may help you out.Also, the problem on my friends roadster ended up to be a bent shaft on the distributor (top, short shaft). He finally discovered that the shaft was .006 out, which was playing havoc after adjusting the points.He took it out last saturday and drove it over 80 miles and now has very little problems (he is still .0015 out).With new shaft on the way, hopefully all his bucking, backfiring, and spitting out the carb will go away.
