My '29 tudor came with friction shocks on the rear ( and modified lever hydraulics of some sort on the front).They may have done some good when they were new but after test driving with and without, the wallow and bounce are the same.These devices are pretty worthless.Be patient enough to spend your money on rebuilding some original or repro A shocks.
